WHAT IS A GENTLEMAN FACIAL?

This relaxing facial is designed for all men at any age who would like to look and feel their best. At Wellmedica Reston Va, our gentleman facials help repair damaged skin from aging, prevent environmental impacts, clear clogged pores, relax stressed facial muscles, and help with frequent irritated skin after shaving.

HOW MANY GENTLEMAN FACIALS WILL I NEED?

Ideally we recommend a facial once every 4 – 6 weeks, but fitting that into a gentle man’s schedule can be tough. So, having at least a gentleman facial done once quarterly will be beneficial.

HOW MUCH DOES A GENTLEMAN FACIAL COST?

The cost of a Gentleman Facial starts at $250 per session and up. (There are a variety of factors that determine the overall price). To ensure that your Gentleman facials are affordable, we accept a variety of payment methods including special financing plans.

WHAT TO EXPECT BEFORE AND AFTER A GENTLEMAN FACIAL?

Before the treatment you will have a chance to voice any skin concerns with Dr. Dima Ali and our master aestheticians to come up with the right treatment for your skin type. There isn’t too much you need to do to prepare for a gentleman facial but there are a few things to note.

Stop using exfoliating skin care products a day or two before your facial to reduce sensitivity.
Do not shave your facial hair at least 24 hours before scheduled appointment.
Ensure that your skin is hydrated and moisturized on the day of your appointment. Drink plenty of water in the days leading to your treatment.

The cleansing is done with our specialized technique and our medical grade Cosminology skin care products to calm the skin and promote healing and regenerate new healthy skin cells. Next the skin is also extracted, exfoliated, steamed, masked, massaged and moisturized accordingly.
One may experience redness, or irritation after the treatment which usually comes with facials, yet this should go away within a few days or less. Remember that results are cumulative. The more consistent you are with getting facials, the better your skin will look and feel. Things to do after an acne deep cleanse facial:

Avoid touching your face before washing your hands or grab a hand sanitizer.
Change your pillowcase when you arrive home.
Remember to continue using the skincare regime recommended by Dr. Dima Ali to maintain your skin.
