WHAT TO EXPECT BEFORE & AFTER MORPHEUS8 TREATMENTS?

Morpheus8 and Morpheus8 Body does not require downtime, but you will experience some side effects as the skin heals. Redness and irritation typically last about a week after the treatment. You should wait several days before applying makeup on the treated area and take care to avoid sun exposure as your skin heals. It is also important to keep the skin well-moisturized throughout the healing process after the first 24 hrs. You will begin to see improvements in your skin within just a few days, but results will continue to develop as the skin produces new, natural collagen. Most patients see their best results about three months after their final treatment session. One week prior to treatment

Stop taking NSAID medicines like Aspirin and Ibuprofen.
Discontinue any irritant type of topical products or treatments or anything perceived as active skincare.
Avoid prolonged sun exposure. No tanning beds.

Day of treatment:

Treated area will be cleaned thoroughly.
Topical Anesthetic will be applied to ensure comfort throughout the procedure.

What can be expected?

Immediately after your treatment, you will notice mild redness and swelling on treated area.
Might experience a feeling of warmth and tightening of the area that can last 3-4 days.
Might develop mild crusting and peeling 3-7 days after treatment.

24 Hours after treatment:

CLEAN –Use a gentle mild cleanser when treating face and neck or body wash on body area that is treated.
HYDRATE – Use a gentle moisturizer or healing ointment on the treatment area until skin heals.
MAKEUP – Can be applied 48-72 hours after the treatment.
PROTECT – Apply a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with a SPF30 and up every 3-4n hours during the day.
