During your consultation with Dr. Dima, she will determine which filler will be right for you. She will also explain why a combination of different fillers will give you the best, most aesthetically natural result.

During your consultation with Dr. Dima, she will assess your skin and facial structure and discuss all the nonsurgical treatment options available to you.

Most often, a nonsurgical facelift can be done in one appointment with a follow up at approximately one week. During that follow up appointment, much of the swelling will have subsided and Dr. Dima will determine if any “touch ups” need to be done.

If a long-lasting filler such a Bellafill® or Sculptra® is used, there may be multiple follow ups to assess the degree of correction, as these potent collagen stimulators need more time to take full effect.

This depends on which filler(s) and the amount of filler you and Dr. Dima decide to use. Depending on the filler and its effective duration, a single syringe of filler (or vial) can range anywhere from $750 to $1,300 each. Using a minimum of 8 syringes is not unusual. In fact, Dr. Dima has used up to 30 syringes of various fillers in one sitting to achieve the patient's desired result. Each patient’s needs are unique, and the treatment must be customized to meet your needs and expectations.  Keep in mind that a syringe of filler is only 0.8 to 1.0 ml. That is not a lot of product, as you can see from the teaspoons below.

The following guidelines will help you prepare for a successful liquid facelift.

Day 1: Prepare for your treatment by coming to your appointment without any makeup. You will be told not to wet your face or exercise for 24 hours after treatment.

Day 2: Swelling will be prominent on day 2 and will gradually decrease everyday thereafter. You may resume gentle cleansing and your typical facial routine.

Day 3: Swelling will continue to improve.

Days 4-7: Continued decline in swelling and bruising.

Week 2: Starting to look great!

Week 3: There will be very little, if any, residual swelling.

Some potential side effects include herpes outbreak, bruising, infection, hematoma formation, and irregularity.

A liquid facelift can be performed on anyone with a desire for an instant lift assuming they are in overall good health, they understand the risks of receiving treatment, and have realistic expectations for their desired results. Those with an active skin infection or a chronic, uncontrolled medical condition, such as diabetes, are not good candidates.
