WHAT IS VISIA® SKIN ANALYSIS?

The first step toward great skin starts with VISIA® Skin Analysis. At WellMedica, we evaluate and assess your skin with the latest 7th Generation VISIA® Skin Analysis system. By providing a scientific view on the current state of your skin, VISIA® lets you develop a customized treatment plan that will truly address your real skin issues. Using special imaging technology, the machine digitally captures 8 different properties of your skin: wrinkles, texture, pores, UV spots, brown spots, red areas, and porphyrins (natural oil and bacteria buildup). Each of these categories is then further analyzed into percentile scores. This percentile score depicts how the condition of your complexion ranks among other individuals of the same age, gender, and skin type. The higher the percentage, the better your skin is within those problem areas.

The VISIA® Skin Analysis is a completely non-invasive, pain-free skin analysis that does not require much preparation prior to your scheduled appointment. We recommend that your skin is cleansed to be free of any makeup and sunscreen before the analysis, so your results aren’t affected. Each VISIA® Skin Analysis captures detailed images of your face in just a few minutes. Your images appear on a computer screen, and you and your master aesthetician review your results together.

We develop an aesthetic treatment plan that fits your needs and your goals based on your VISIA® Skin Analysis results. Detailed results mean we can choose the exact aesthetic and cosmetic treatments to give you the best possible results.

We may recommend additional analyses with VISIA® to track your progress after you complete your cosmetic treatments or after using Cosminology skin care products. Depending on the type of cosmetic services you choose, VISIA® can help us see how the treatments are working to improve those cosmetic imperfections.

The cost of the VISIA® Skin Analysis is $65. However, we offer all our new patients a complimentary VISIA® Skin Analysis during their initial consultation.
