ARE SIGNATURE FACIALS RIGHT FOR ME?
WellMedica signature facials help rejuvenate tired, dull skin from inside out. You will achieve this with the benefit of medical-grade deep cleanse, exfoliation, and hydration skin care products and devices used during the facials.
Included in this facial is a lymphatic drainage facial massage that enhances the blood circulation to your face by delivering oxygen to the skin and pushing toxins and waste out to the lymph nodes. This facial also benefits the skin by reducing puffiness, stress, migraines, fatigue, and breakouts.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU GET A SIGNATURE FACIAL?
Once a month is the recommendation of most aestheticians, but fitting that into the modern woman’s schedule can be tough. Having treatments done at least every other month is very beneficial, too.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT BEFORE AND AFTER A SIGNATURE FACIAL?
Before your treatment, you will have a chance to voice any skin concerns you may have with Dr. Dima Ali and one of our elite master aestheticians, and they will develop the right treatment plan for your skin type. There isn’t too much you need to do to prepare for a signature facial but there are a few things to note.
- Stop using exfoliating skin care products a day or two before your facial to reduce sensitivity.
- Avoid tanning prior to your facial appointment.
- Do not wax your facial hair for at least 72 hours prior scheduled appointment.
- Ensure that your skin is hydrated and moisturized on the day of your appointment. Drink plenty of water in the days leading to your treatment.
- If you have a history of cold sores, please discuss with Dr. Dima Ali to ensure that you start your antiviral medication prior to your scheduled appointment.
The cleansing portion of your signature facial is done with our specialized technique and our medical-grade Cosminology skin care products that calm the skin, promote healing, and regenerate new healthy skin cells. Next the skin is also extracted, exfoliated, steamed, masked, massaged, and moisturized accordingly.
After receiving your signature facial, you will immediately notice your skin looking smoother, tighter, brighter, and feeling more lifted and clearer. You may experience mild redness depending on what has been performed during your signature facial. Remember, results of your facials are cumulative. The more consistent you are with getting facials, the better your skin will look and feel.
Things to do after your signature facial include:
- Avoid touching your face before washing your hands or using a hand sanitizer.
- Change your pillowcase when you arrive home.
- Remember to continue using the skin care regime recommended by Dr. Dima Ali to maintain the healthy look and feel of your skin.
