This technology uses thousands of microscopic laser columns – each just one-tenth the diameter of a hair follicle – to provide precision when targeting and effectively treating the skin’s surface, middle, and deep dermal levels. This versatile laser offers a wide range of treatment intensities to treat everything from a dull complexion to advanced signs of aging.

The best candidates for CO2RE® laser skin resurfacing tend to be people who struggle with one or more of the following:

Typically, just 1 CO2RE® laser treatment is recommended. However, additional treatments may be required for areas that cannot be treated aggressively. Treatments start at $2,000. There are a variety of factors that determine the overall price. To ensure that your CO2RE® procedure is affordable, we accept a variety of payment methods including special financing plans.

Patients that are undergoing treatment with the CO2RE® laser should be sure to:

  • Hydrate sufficiently (64 fluid ounces daily for one week prior to treatment).
  • Avoid alcohol for 7 days prior to the procedure to decrease the risk of bruising.
  • Avoid NSAIDs for 14 days prior to treatment.
  • If you have a history of cold sores, please inform Dr. Dima, as you may need to be pre-treated with an antiviral medication.
  • Discontinue topical retinoids or other skin irritants for a minimum of 3 - 5 days prior to treatment.
  • Avoid prolonged sun exposure and use SPF 30+.
  • Avoid using alcohol-based cleansers, as this removes moisture from your skin.

Immediately after treatment, most patients will experience redness for 1 - 3 days; however, for more aggressive treatments, redness may last longer. Slight to moderate swelling and a mild to moderate sunburn sensation are also common post-treatment and may last 1 - 3 days. After the second day, the skin will appear as an exaggerated tan. The treated skin will then begin to flake at 5 - 7 days for the chest or 10 - 14 days for the hands.
