What is UltraClear™?

Powered by first-of-its-kind cold fiber laser technology, delivers fractional ablative sub-pulses for optimal noninvasive skin rejuvenation. Addressing facial aging concerns UltraClear™, helps reverse signs of aging for all skin types quickly, safely, effectively, and comfortably. The result is a smoother, healthier, clearer, tighter, and younger-looking skin with more radiant complexion.

UltraClear™ creates microchannels triggering natural exfoliation and stimulating collagen without excessive bulk heating. With its superior efficiency and safety for all skin types, it banishes fine lines, wrinkles, remodel collagen, sunspots, age spots, scars, and pigmentation.

What Can the UltraClear™ Laser Do?

Superficial 3DMIRACL™ Resurfacing is a superficial fast lunchtime” type of treatment. This treatment produces a healthy glow to your skin while helping reduce fine wrinkles and lines, skin discoloration and to improve overall skin texture. Nothing is one and done, so series of 3-6 may be recommended every 4- 6 week. Results for 3DMIRACL last a few months, then patients may come in for a touch-up treatment.

Treatment of Deeper Lines, Wrinkles, and more advanced Skin Discoloration uses UltraClear™ Customized Treatments in Reston and Washington DC Maryland. Deeper modes remove damaged tissue and stimulate the production of fresh new collagen and elastin, critical building blocks for healthier skin

Treatment of Unwanted Scar with UltraClear™. This is highly effective at treating scars on face and body including those caused by trauma, surgery, acne, and burns. Treatment of scars might require a combination of medical or surgical with laser treatment.

Skin Rejuvenation. Traditional resurfacing lasers have largely been limited to use on the face and skin types due to the high risk of scaring and other complications. Due to minimal amount of thermal injury UltraClear™ laser produces, it is extremely versatile and can be used on the face, neck, arms, and other areas to improve skin texture and skin color on all skin types.

How Many UltraClear™ Treatments Will I Need?

Depending on your goals. Dr Dima will recommend a series of 3DMIRACL™ treatments or a combination utilizing multiple UltraClear^™ modes to address deeper lines, wrinkles, and scars. After a single UltraClear^™ laser treatment, patients notice improvements in their skin in as little as two days. Deeper resurfacing results can last anywhere from 1-5 years.

What To Expect Before, During and After UltraClear™ Treatment

Before Treatment

Stay away from the sun 3-4 weeks prior to treatment.
Stop using exfoliating products 1 week prior to treatment.
Keep your skin protected with SPF 30+ daily.
Increase water intake.

During Treatment

UltraClear^™ laser treatments often take only 15 minutes, and no anesthetic cream is required for our patients to stay comfortable during treatment. After cleansing your skin, UltraClear^™ “cold” laser handpiece is guided over the treatment area.

After Treatment

Slight warm feeling like sunburn sensation for a few hours post the procedure.
Mild redness
Mild Pain
Slight swelling (UltraClear^™deeper modes)
Pinpoint bleeding (UltraClear^™deeper modes)

3DMIRACL™

Since the treatment is superficial in the uppermost layer with no dermal exposure, there is none to minimal downtime. The skin might appear slightly red and swollen with warm/ spicy for a few hours post procedure.

UltraClear^™ Reston / Washington DC / Virginia

Using deeper customized modes will expose your dermis layer, that means that you will have 2-3 days of downtime. Redness, mild swelling, possible pinpoint bleeding in areas treated more deeply may be experienced. But compared to other resurfacing devices, the downtime is very minimal.

RECOMMENDED DO NOT’S (for days 1-2):

NO sunscreen on day 1 or 2.
NO alcohol, spicy or hot foods till day 2.
NO exercise, defer activity till redness or swelling subside on at least day 3.
NO sun or any environmental exposures like wind, extreme cold, and ocean water.
NO product use other than those recommended by or given to you by your provider.
NO cosmetics unless you have a “new” brush and products. Previously used cosmetics may harbor bacteria that can cause infection, otherwise you may apply cosmetics on day 2-3 if comfortable.
NO ice, (especially frozen peas or vegetables packets) directedly on the skin, especially if you are still numb from pretreatment topical analgesic mixture (if applicable) immediately post treatment. There is no way to assure what you got from the grocery store freezer is “clean”.
NO ice/ice baths after 72 hours, cold water is fine. Ice after 72 hours can increase edema. This includes “small” ice packs, skin should be cooled evenly with a full mask or a moist ice/cooled “hand towel” covering the full treatment small ice packs in isolated areas may promote uneven healing and leave hot spots.
NO cleansers or products with acids, high alcohol content, botanicals, or a multiple ingredient menu. The more ingredients on the label the harder it will be to extrapolate what caused a reaction post treatment.
NO direct contact with pets, unclean surfaces or touching treatment areas during healing/sloughing clean towels, pillowcases and surfaces areas touching treatment zones are a must.

RECOMMENDED DO NOT’s (for days 3-5):

NO RX or acid-based products until your practitioner has cleared you to use This could be anywhere from day 5 to 14 depending on the depth and degree of your treatment.
NO picking, rubbing, or scrubbing or exfoliants while skin is sloughing.
NO RX medications (like retinols) or adjunct laser treatments until you are cleared by your treating provider.
NO direct contact with pets, unclean surfaces or touching treatment areas during healing/sloughing clean towels, pillowcases and surfaces areas touching treatment zones are a must.

How Much Does UltraClear™ Treatment Cost?

Cost varies depending on your treatment goals, recommended treatment plans, depth of treatment and size of area treated.
