Laser resurfacing is a tried-and-true aesthetic treatment for scarring, discoloration, fine lines, wrinkles, and other common skin concerns. With the UltraClear Laser, we’re thrilled to offer an award-winning resurfacing laser for all skin types. With advanced cold fiber laser technology that’s the first of its kind, UltraClear can quickly, safely, and comfortably reverse signs of aging.
Before undergoing UltraClear Laser treatment for smoother, brighter, and more youthful-looking skin, here’s what you need to know.
How Does UltraClear Work?
UltraClear forms microchannels in the dermis, stimulating collagen production and natural exfoliation without excessive bulk heating, which can damage the surrounding skin. Additionally, by ablating the skin’s outer layer at precise depths, UltraClear prevents bleeding, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and other thermal-induced complications common in darker skin types with other laser methods. This makes UltraClear a much safer alternative to traditional CO2 ablative lasers.
The superior efficiency and safety of UltraClear’s cold fiber laser technology lead to smoother, clearer, tighter, healthier, and more radiant skin.
What Can UltraClear Help With?
UltraClear can help with many common skin concerns, including:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Sagging skin
- Sunspots
- Age spots
- Discoloration
- Scarring
- Pigmentation
- Uneven skin texture
UltraClear has several modes, including the 3DMiracl mode, a superficial lunchtime treatment for fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration, and uneven skin texture. The UltraClear mode is a deeper treatment for more pronounced skin imperfections.
How Many UltraClear Sessions Will I Need?
Dr. Dima will recommend a personalized treatment plan with a series of UltraClear sessions depending on your aesthetic goals. For 3DMiracl resurfacing, many patients undergo three to six sessions spaced out by four to six weeks.
How Long Does UltraClear Last?
The 3DMiracl treatment with UltraClear (similar to “Laser Facial”) produces results that typically last for a few months. For deeper resurfacing with UltraClear, the results can last years.
How Long Does an UltraClear Session Take?
UltraClear laser treatments generally only take 20 minutes, with no anesthetic cream required to keep our patients comfortable. However, deeper treatments will require a topical anesthetic.
Does UltraClear Require Downtime?
3DMiracl requires no downtime, as it’s a superficial laser treatment. For Ultraclear modes that expose the dermis layer of the skin, patients may need two to three days of downtime. This is significantly shorter than other deep resurfacing treatments.
